Pay per click advertising - how it works |
Is pay per click advertising right for your business?
Without question pay per click advertising can work wonders for any business - even those with basic
websites and scant internet marketing skills. But to get the best from it you need experience and a fair
degree of copywriting skills. That's where we come in.
The Google pay per click advertising program is called Adwords with more money now being spent on pay per click than any other form of advertising.
The way it works is very simple; let's say you sell ladies shoes and you want to increase sales of your killer Jimmy Choo range via your new website.
Adwords allows you to write an advert that only appears when somebody searches Google for a product or service you want to be found by. In this example you'd probably want "Jimmy Choo shoes"
to be a search phrase (known as a keyword) that would trigger your advert.
Once you've chosen your keywords you then decide how much per-click you're willing to pay - whoever bids the most gets their advert highest on the page.
And remember, you only pay the amount you've bid when somebody see's your advert, likes it, clicks on
it and then arrives at your website. You have total control over the audience your advert is talking to.
That's pay per click advertising in a nutshell, but as always with internet marketing there is a skill to it.
Make use of Clickpower's skills...
At Clickpower it's taken us years to develop our pay per click skills to the level we operate now. We've learned the lessons, written the proverbial cheques and know what works as a Google marketing strategy and what doesn't.
For example, do you really need to pay the highest amount for your advert to be No1 at the top?

Well, if your business is pest control then you have to be No1 because chances are your audience has rats and they want rid of them pronto - they won't waste time searching for long.
Other businesses will find better value by running their adverts from positions 3 or 4, but any lower than that and your advert simply won't get seen - no visability means no clicks and no traffic.
Because every industry sector is different we always ask our clients to start with a £299 trial. This is so we can set up your campaign and test which keywords are generating enquiries/sales for you and which ones aren't. The trial can last anywhere from 1 day to 2 months, it's up to you.
After the trial our advice will clearly be to continue advertising only against those keywords that have proved to work. We move forward with you on a month by month basis with no annual contacts, solely relying on the results we deliver to keep you using our services month after month.
What you get for your advertising trial:
Extensive keyword research: there could be many hundreds of keywords relevant to your business, we make sure we discover as many of them as possible.
Bid management: to ensure your advert always rides high in a top 4 position on Google we constantly monitor bids and alter them where necessary.
Advert copywriting: If your advert isn't speaking the right language then it's not going to attract people to click on it. Our adverts have consistently delivered top results on Google for years.
Campaign reporting: Every week we email a report to you that details the activity on your campaign over the previous 7 days,
