Case Study: Alloy Hub
Client Overview
Alloy Hub is based in Leek, Staffordshire. Their core service is selling OEM Alloy Wheels online. When we started working together, it was aimed at just the UK market. Since then, we have begun to target the international market. Along with global SEO, another service offering is Alloy Wheel Refurbishment. So, we have carried out local SEO to target local clients.
Challenge
When Alloy Hub partnered with us, its online presence was underperforming. Mainly due to the technical health, there was already a lot of content and products. However the site health issues were preventing the search engines to crawl and index the website effectively.
Key challenges included:
- Low Site Health: When we carried out the initial SEO Audit, it was apparent the site health score was very low.
- Poor Visibility for Key Terms: The website had minimal visibility for high-volume keywords crucial to their business.
SEO Strategy and Implementation
To tackle these challenges, our team devised a comprehensive SEO strategy that focused on the following key areas:
Technical SEO and Site Health Improvements
- We addressed critical technical SEO issues, including fixing duplicate title tags and resolving duplicate content across multiple pages. These fixes improved the site health score and ensured that Google could better index the correct pages.
Keyword Optimisation and Content Strategy
- We carried out keyword research, to find keywords which would likely convert and have low competition. We did also need to target very popular broad terms.
Backlink Strategy
- Although acquiring high-quality backlinks is challenging, we began a targeted backlink acquisition strategy, focusing on industry-relevant sites to boost domain authority and improve overall search rankings.
Regular Performance Monitoring and Updates
- We consistently monitor the performance of our SEO efforts using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush. Regular updates and tweaks were made based on the data, ensuring continuous improvement in rankings and traffic.
